The Seven Habits of Highly Effective Mercenaries
Colonel Cassandra Wells Following the demobilisation of her unit, the Advanced Combat Group, Cassandra Wells chose not to re-enlist in the US Army, but to take a few months to travel and see old friends. Arriving in London, she found Tom Doone, a man she had known since a multinational exercise when they were both nineteen. She’d carried him three miles after he broke his ankle, something to solidify any friendship. Tom invited the fiery, enthusiastic blonde to join him in taking advantage of the recently-ratified Reykjavik Accords. With a few other old friends and a almost-legal acquistion of a tramp steamer, the League of Freedom was formed. Tempermental and energetic, Cassandra uses her bubbly, on-the-go attitude to hide crippling self-confidence issues. Recent injuries have not helped, including a shattered knee during a raid on a science station in Antarctica. Reduced to the sick list, she has developed a serious case of cabin fever.
